Update!

We initially put our home on the market as For Sale By Owner at the end of 2011. In 2012 we took it off the market for most of the year because our job situation changed, but now in 2013 we are putting it back on the market since we hope to move out of State. We love this house and have done many improvements since these pictures were taken. Feel free to call or comment and ask questions. Because we are selling this house ourselves, we have no wiggle room on price. We have gone as low as we can because we do not have to pay realtor fees etc. We also might be open to renting or rent-to-own.

Cutest house on the block!

This beauty has been our home for 4 years. We hate to part with it since we have loved it so much but a new job has required us to move out of state. We have put a lot of time and effort into making it look nice both on the inside and out.

The garage is very long and could accommodate 3 cars, or two cars and some toys (4 wheeler, snow mobile or motorcycle etc). We use the extra space for our bikes and motor scooter and grill etc. Two of the trees in the front yard are plum trees and have given us a bountiful plum harvest every year which we make into jelly. There are flower beds on all 4 sides of the house which have many types of perennial flowers and shrubs planted in them. There is lots of space for vegetables and fruits, or more flowers. There is a rhubarb bush to the left of the deck, and strawberries right in front of that. We plant green peppers, jalapenos and tomatoes every year to the left and right of the deck in the backyard because there is so much space to do so in the flower beds. There is also a large garden area toward the back left of the backyard which we use to plant veggies and fruits.

The backyard is gigantic! There is a lot of it. This picture wasn't even taken at our property line. There is still maybe 10 feet behind me while I took the picture. You can see the main garden area to the right of this picture. It used to be a big dirt mound when we bought the house and we leveled it and enclosed it with red brick to make a vegetable garden. It would also look great with flowers and shrubs planted in it.

Kitchen/Dining Room

The kitchen has been my favorite room of the house because we love to cook. There is so much space and lots of cupboard and pantry storage. It has been a wonderful space for entertaining and having dinner/game nights with our friends and family. There is tile flooring throughout the kitchen and laundry room that matches the tile in all of the bathrooms. The dishwasher, stove, microwave and even the fridge will be staying with the house.

To the right of the kitchen is a built in family computer/office area that you can see in this picture below. There is plenty of room for a family computer and large printer. There is also a lot more storage above desk area and drawers to the right of it that can accommodate office supplies etc.
Above is the dining room. Our table stretches out to seat about 10 people and there is plenty of room for it. If you have a large dining room table, there is no need to fear- it will fit perfectly in this room. The light fixture is also a ceiling fan which is very nice to have!

Off to the left is the laundry room. The laundry room leads out to the garage. The only reason I wanted to show the laundry room is because there is so much storage. Not only are the cupboards large, but the shelving above them can hold a lot as well.

Living Room

This house has an open floor plan which makes the house feel like there is so much more space. As soon as you walk through the front door that is the first thing you notice. The living room opens right up to the kitchen and you can see the entire vaulted ceiling that leads into the other side of the kitchen. There is a lot of shelving all along the ceiling which is great for extra lighting and decorations.

This is a great view of the vaulted ceilings that go throughout the kitchen and living room. We have loved not having a complete wall separate the two rooms.

These pictures are not up-to-date, as we have just recently painted the long wall that connects the living room to the kitchen. It used to be painted grey with a marble texture. Now it is a creamy off white/very light yellow and looks absolutely beautiful against the red in the kitchen. There is a lot of space for couches and other furniture in this room.

Master Bedroom

There are 3 bedrooms on the upper level of the house. One is the master bedroom and it has a lot of open space. The main light fixture in this room is also a ceiling fan which is ultra nice in the summer. The room has a vaulted ceiling with shelving along the top which is perfect for decorations. We put rope lighting along the shelving which will also stay with the house and it creates a beautiful ambiance in the room. The main wall is painted a rusty orange color and the other 3 walls are a light tan-ish brown.

This is a great shot of the shelving. It wraps around to the right of the picture and the rope lighting is all the way across. The master bedroom also boasts a large walk-in closet off to the right of the above picture.

This is one of the other bedrooms on the upper level. The 3rd bedroom on the upper level is right next to this one and is approximately the same size.

Bathrooms

There are 3 bathrooms in the house. One in the master bedroom, another on the upper level of the house, and the 3rd is in the basement.

This is the guest bathroom on the upper level. The feature we have loved most about all of the bathrooms in the house are the giant mirrors. They are very tall and wide and offer a great view :) There is tile in every bathroom as well.
These bottom two pictures are of the basement bathroom. It is really large and bigger than the guest bathroom on the upper level. The bear print and shower curtain were here when we bought the house and we haven't changed it since we moved a few years ago. We are leaving the shower curtain to stay with the decor of the bathroom. There is also shelving off to the right in the bottom picture that has boxes covered in bear print as well. Lots of storage!

Basement

Here is the basement. We absolutely love the wide open feeling of it. The stairway is extra wide which makes moving furniture down here a breeze. There is a lot of light coming in through the windows as well which is nice during the day time. We don't use our basement too much so we don't have a lot of furniture down here but the possibilities are endless.
The family room in the basement is wired for surround sound and we are leaving the speakers with the house. Our couch is really big and it fits all different directions in this room. There is so much space you could fit quite a lot more furniture down here.

This is the largest bedroom in the house other than the master bedroom. It is really spacious and there is even more room you can't see in the pictures. We have 3 bookshelves against the wall that is outside of the scope of the lens so you can fit a lot into this room.

This room is somewhat secluded in the back of the basement which has been perfect for us when we have family or friends in town visiting. It is right next to the basement bathroom. This room, the bathroom and the utility room are closed off by a door so it gives it more of a private feeling. It fits two twin beds with room to spare and would probably be ideal for a teenager. The curtains came with the house when we bought it and we haven't really used this room very much so we have left them up. They will stay with the house.
